ALL PRICES ARE FOR THE BOAT

Half Day Trips (At least 4 Hours)
1-4 People $350

Full Day Trips (At least 8 Hours)
1-4 People - Inshore $650
Near shore-$700

Full Day Offshore
1-4 people - $800

Full Day Striped Bass fishing
1-4 people up to 20 miles from inlet - $650
Over 20 miles to the Virginia line- $750.

6pm - Dark (9-9:30PM)
Summer only 1-4 people- $275

  • These prices include a cash discount for the use of checks, money orders, traveler's checks, and/or cash transactions.
  • Deposits must be made 14 days before trip unless we have a cancellation. Mail deposits to: Raymond Pugh, 325 Nags Way ct. Nags Head, NC 27959.
  • The Captain at his discretion may cancel trips due to bad weather conditions.
  • All deposits would be refunded. Your Safety is our first concern.
  • Any charters cancelled 14 days before trip will be charge half price. Any parties not showing up at dock will be charged full price.
PRICES INCLUDE
  • This price includes all tackle, bait and ice. No fishing license is required. You should bring your own food, drinks and sunscreen. Appropriate clothing, hats and sunglasses are also recommended. We prefer that you have either boat shoes or light colored sole shoes. Please no black soled shoes.
  • Fly fishing is welcomed but you must bring your own gear or if you prefer your own personal tackle, bring it on.

DIRECTIONS TO THE BOAT RAMP

From Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Southern Shores, Duck, Corolla & northern Nags Head:
  1. Take 158 East (the 4 lane bypass - the ocean will be on your left) On the side of the road there are milepost markers. Go to Milepost 16
  2. Look for two large green directional signs above the road. Get in right lane. Follow the sign on the right - it will read: Roanoke Island, 64 West, Manteo/Wanchese, right 2 Lanes
  3. Take this route 1.5 miles
  4. You will come to a high rise bridge, the Washington Baum Bridge. Across the sound to your right you will see lots of boats and condos. This is Pirate's Cove Yacht Club.
  5. After crossing the bridge, there will be a traffic light (approximately 500 yds after crossing). Get in left lane. At this light, take a left. It will put you on a fedder road under the high rise to the public boat ramp.
  6. Look for a blue sign at the light on your left that will read: Washington Baum Public Boat Ramp.
From Hatteras, Buxton, Avon, Salvo & Rodanthe:
  1. Take 12 North, over the Oregon Inlet Bridge, continue 8 miles to the first light, which will be 64 west
  2. Take a left, and follow the directions below...starting at go 1.5 miles
  3. Take this route 1.5 miles
  4. You will come to a high rise bridge, the Washington Baum Bridge. Across the sound to your right you will see lots of boats and condos. This is Pirate's Cove Yacht Club.
  5. After crossing the bridge, there will be a traffic light (approximately 500 yds after crossing). Get in left lane. At this light, take a left. It will put you on a fedder road under the high rise to the public boat ramp.
  6. Look for a blue sign at the light on your left that will read: Washington Baum Public Boat Ramp.
From South Nags Head
  1. On Virginia Dare Trail, go North past the Comfort Inn, which will be on your right
  2. Turn left at the 7/11, which will be on your left
  3. Continue to the traffic light, then onto the next light, which is 64 West
  4. Take this route 1.5 miles
  5. You will come to a high rise bridge, the Washington Baum Bridge. Across the sound to your right you will see lots of boats and condos. This is Pirate's Cove Yacht Club.
  6. After crossing the bridge, there will be a traffic light (approximately 500 yds after crossing). Get in left lane. At this light, take a left. It will put you on a fedder road under the high rise to the public boat ramp.
  7. Look for a blue sign at the light on your left that will read: Washington Baum Public Boat Ramp.
There is public parking, rest room facilities, and most of the time, patrolled by local law enforcement of all kinds. Your vehicle will be safe there. Pirates Cove Marina across the highway offers fish cleaning for a fee.
